Nice and Slow!

Left Sacavem at 6:30, because I knew I had a big day. Yesterday was a warmup of 12.5kms, and today would be double. The heat has been rising every day. I thought march would be cooler. I had not seen another soul all day, until the last 2 kms of the day. Met a man named Paul from England. He was passing me going about 2 times faster. When he saw that I had a backpack, we chatted and ended up at the same hostel. He walked in one day what I had done in 2! Turns out he is a postman back in England. Anyway made it to Vila Franca do Xira tonight. Here are some pics from today.Read more
