1. Day Ankara (at Night)

We landed in Ankara (affectionately pronounced Angara by the locals) 45 minutes after departure. As the airport is poorly connected, we took a Havasbus to the Otogar and from there a taxi to our accommodation in Cankaya.

The flat is spacious and includes a Jacuzzi in the sleeping area with an incredible view of Ankara.

I wanted to get a beer at the Tekel (Kiosk), but there is a ban on selling alcohol after 10 pm, so I went to a bar and drank it there.Read more
