    2. Day Ankara I

    Since we wanted to discover Ankara, we walked the first stretch. We first visited the Kocatepe mosque and had a Turkish breakfast in Cankaya. I charged my mobil with 30 GB for 145 Lt and then we took the metro line M 1-2-3 Kizilay to Ulus. Ulus is the historic old town of Ankara and contains many sights and museums.

    We went to the Atatürk Museum first and then to the National Museum (Republic Museum).

    Afterwards we went to the Museum of Anatolian Peoples and the Hittite Museum. On our way, of course, we visited the bazaar, the market hall and Anakara Castle.    Read more
