3. Day Cappadocia (Balloon-Ride) I

The hot air balloon tour is emblematic of a trip to Cappadocia. So we looked into the possibility of a tour early on and called various providers. The prices range from 160 to 300 euros, depending on the size of the passengers. We decided to go with Royal Balloons, as they tend to have small groups, a good price and, according to recommendations on various sites, the safest provider. Please note that you have to call one day before you want to do the tour, preferably at 8 a.m., and ask if there are still places available.

We did this and were able to get two places for €190 per person in a group of 16. The groups can be up to 30 people.

We were picked up from our hotel at 04:20 in the morning. Then we had a light breakfast, after which we were driven to the launch site and later back to the hotel from our landing site after champagne was served.

Conclusion: it was breathtaking, worth every penny and an experience of a lifetime.En savoir plus
