2. Day Mersin (Departure to Aggia Nappa)

After all the day's adventures and dropping off the rental car, we went to the port and picked up our tickets to Famagusta (Turkish: Gazimagusa) in Northern Cyprus. The tickets cost us a total of €62 for two people with the provider Akgünler. The crossing took 10 hours plus 2 hours delay. It has to be said that it was not a ferry but rather a freight ferry. Not for everyone and not comfortable at all. Nevertheless, it was an experience and we were very happy to finally arrive in Cyprus.Read more
