The first impression of NZ. Great! Great day, great weather, nice place! A glass of wine at the harbour.. Good life!

The first impression was.. OMG, this could be any small town in England, here is nothing of interest.. As it tourned out, we've had one of our nicest afternoons since I work for Seabourn..
Caused by strong winds our moorings failed and the whole ship moved away from the pier, crashing into another ship! Luckily, our captain managed that the impact was rather smooth - so not even glasses were destroyed. "Unfortunately" quite a lot of the crew was ashore when all that happened. I was among them, and so we spent an afternoon in the Pub, instead of working - the company paid..

I'm in New Zealand since a few days..
Its a nice country - very nice, but not so exciting but - its nice!
Today we've had one of our most astonishing sailaways, I've seen so far!

Now I saw approximately 7 or 8 harbours in New Zealand. Its clear that NZ has an english touch - if you ask for my opinion to come back - well..

Most of what NZ is about.. The british Islands are not so different. I like England a lot, so I'd rather drive to England than to come to NZ again.

Don't get me wrong - New Zealand is a beautiful country! But you can experience similar views and ways of life in Europe as well.

If you travel from Europe to this part of the world - go to Australia - its more interesting, more different than Europe. If you want to see astonishing towns.. Skip Wellington - Sydney or Melbourne are by far more interesting!

The most exciting thing in Wellington was some bavarian beer.. :-DЧитать далее

Ok, agreed!
Tauranga has one of the most impressive beaches i've ever seen - by the way - the whole town is really nice!

The only drawback - being in civilisation - no glass of wine with your friends at the beach.. :-/

Good news - until now - we've only moved forward. Now, we're on our way back. Pretty much the same route until Bali via Australia. Means - the end of my contract is getting closer :-)Читать далее

So far so good - I've finished my seabourn experience.. Another 24 hours of airports and airplanes lay ahead of me. Friday: Munich, Saturday: Dresden, Monday: Rostock
