Reykjavik; Center Hotel Arnarhvoll

We made it to Iceland! After 40 hours travel; 1 car, 1 train 4 planes, 1 rental car , 3 small sleeps and countless airline meals, we arrived in Reykjavik.
We napped for about an hour and then on to drinks, dinner and more drinks. The hotel has a fabulous bar on the top floor and hot spa in the basement. The Main Street is full of restaurants and bars and the scene is very lively.

The local girls were out in skimpy dresses (1 degree) and we were surprised to see an ice cream-bar that was full! It seems ice-cream is a ‘thing’ here. Most of the bar patrons were noisy locals, they love to party.

It was a great night with the promise of a fabulous day tomorrow.Leer más
