Day 5: Chef saves me from myself

Because of my sensitivity/intolerance to dairy I notified Viking and they deliver to my stateroom a menu for the following days meals. I circle which meals, lunch or dinner, I choose. When I go to the restaurant, they have my menu choices there already and I don’t even receive a menu. Today, I chose crème brûlée for dessert on my menu but the waiter brought me a poached apple, saying “Chef says you cannot have crème brûlée”.

The poached apple was delicious.
