Up and about for a full day in Glasgow, after breakfast we headed out and started walking towards the Tenament House which is exactly how it was lived in so many years ago, it is a true example of life back in the 1800s. On the way to the house the heavens opened up and it poured and poured, lucky we had our raincoats. After that we decided to jump back on to the hop on hop off bus and headed to the Cathedral which was just beautiful, we then just wandered around the shops for a while before heading back to the hotel for a rest, dinner was in a Italian restuarant that was amazing.Weiterlesen

We stopped at a castle that is owned by the Macrae family and has been since 1520 its called Eilean Donan Castle and the family still live in parts of it. What an amazing time the kids would have growing up in a place like that. Off again on our way to Staffin to our B&B that is home for the night, the roads had me on the edge of my seat a lot, I think I have left finger nail marks in my seat lol. Our B&B hosts Kate and Steve are just brilliant, she paints animals and he paints landscapes , amazing couple.Weiterlesen

Apparantly Princess Anne was there today but she kept away from the masses lol, it was really interesting to see all the painting etc, it was a very full day but really interesting.-Weiterlesen
