Lamego

We arrived in the town of Peso da Regua and waited for our taxi transfer to the Renaissance and Baroque village of Lamego. The plan had been to be dropped off in the village and wander around it, and then head to our hotel. However, as it was raining, we headed straight to the hotel and, what a hotel it was, absolutely gorgeous. As our rooms weren’t ready we headed to the bar for a drink and some lunch.
