Food and friends

After a short ferry ride from Batam back to Singapore we spent the next few days eating and catching up with friends. We got to see Derrick and Lynn's new, beautifully renovated, HDB apartment in Seragoon and had a delicious cheese tart for dessert - which the wisconsinites obviously loved.

We spent Wednesday eating more Xiao Long Bao, exploring the reservoirs and capped the day off with dinner at Haidilao with Igor's Jurong colleagues and friends. Haidilao is a famous Chinese chain, where they serve you snacks and offer free manicures to those waiting for a seat!
