For our last stop of the trip, we're in Mendoza for a few days, staying at the cutest 7 bed boutique hotel.

Upon arrival we instantly started with their 7 course dinner & wine pairing. Some favorites included a corn broth, grappa welcome cocktail, and bread with the most amazing caper butter. The wines were delicious, all from the owner's winery, Susana Balbo.

Our main activity here is up in the foothills, about 1.5 hours away, at a ranch! They recommended a driver even though we had a car, and we're so glad for it, because we were on some crazy off roads!

After cresting multiple foothills, we found ourselves surrounded by nothing but open land, sunshine, and fresh air - at the owners home ranch, with no other guests.

Our day included coffee and dulce de leche snacks to start before partaking in some horseback riding - the first time for Cha and Igor! Our horses were so sweet, mine, named Patricia, loved to snack, and Igors was a big spotted one named Tabasco! ♥️♥️

We did an hour horse riding trek through the hills and enjoyed the beautiful views. They definitely were the most beginner friendly horses, taking it easy on us with only a few moments of trots. Igor loved it too, maybe we'll become horse people 🐴

The rest of the afternoon they fed us until we had to refuse more steak - steak, flank, short ribs, pork sausage, potatoes, salad, bread. Not to mention many delicious wines and a big chocolate mousse dessert. We were so full we had to take a porch nap.

We ended our visit with some sparkling wine atop their hills overlooking their experimental vineyards (one of the highest altitude sites in the area!).
