Adios Argentina

We wrapped up our stay in Mendoza with a lazy pool day and some cocktails and the stunning full moon!

One more in-country flight back to BA now for our last night in Argentina. We are staying at the Palacio Duhau, a very cool old building in the more upscale neighborhood of BA, definitely our vibe.

For dinner we worked on spending our 100$ hotel credit on some cocktails and enjoyed the hotel gardens which was hosting a very cute wedding, before heading to another Argentinian steak dinner. This one was a bit more laid back but the steak was as good or better than Don Julio (the 1 star Michelin spot). We had a delicious bottle of Malbec and ordered just the right amount of food for once.

With our flight at 855pm the next day we made sure to request a late checkout (till 4pm!) and used the time to visit Cementerio de la Recoleta in Buenos Aires. Established in 1822 and home to over 4,600 above-ground vaults.

And with that our trip comes to a close! We wrapped up with some afternoon baths, room service, before the late night flight home. 🥂Read more
