Jesus, Belém, Pastel de Nata and Ramen

    December 30, 2022 in Portugal ⋅ 🌬 18 °C

Our day just started the same as before, easy breakfast choices and nice conversation between. The goal was set, Sanctuary Of Christ The King. We went with the train and with a short trip though the city, over the water below the bridge, it was a walk of about 45 minutes to the statue. Next to the intens experience after we get up the building, the next goal was to get to Belém Tower. It's a little castle in the water with a very big queue over 1,5 hour waiting, in other words, a no go.

Okay than, the most amazing food... Pastel de Nata😩!!! It's a little puff pastry, filled with custard and topped with a bit of cinnamon... Portugal is also the origin of this godly stuff. The bakery we got it from was called Pasteis the Belém.

Our diner was in Rubro Campo Pequeno, beautiful place and a nice video, enjoy. And of course the day ended the same way with some card games and drinks.

Sleeping well and till the next one!
