Bocas del Toro

Bocas was an interesting town. Every single traveller we had met up to this point in Panama ended up staying at the same hostel. Our friend Hans, who we met in Santa Catalina spent a lot of time with us. We met the loveliest girl from Spain, Berta. We cried when she left. The town itself was cool, built on mangroves so all the buildings stuck out over the water. We did lots of partying, some scuba, our first night dive, and a couple day trips to the other islands via eater taxi. We were happy with the week we spent and emotional to see our friends off.
