Sevilla is gorgeous, definitely punches way above its weight for architecture. The real Alcazar is unbelievable, Plaza de España is as grand as you could imagine, and around every corner there's another beautiful building, but the real treat here was the music.
Sevilla claims to be home of flamenco, along with Granada, and had its own distinct style. We saw an amazing flamenco show on our first night, and had booked tickets to a second show, but thanks to a recommendation from a travel friend, we ended up at a little hole in the wall bar where many locals gather to jam. Its open to everyone and it was INCREDIBLE. I dont think you could get a more authentic experience. The guitarists were amazing, every body sang along, It was a highlight of the trip so far. I even got to play along with a couple songs, they were very encouraging!Læs mere
