    Making our way up - views over El Chalten

    Our first hike in Patagonia was to Laguna Torre. We knew we were in for a challenge as heavy rain was forecast. It was cloudy but every so often we got glimpses of the snow capped mountains.
    "Laguna Torre" translates to Tower Lagoon. It is a stunning glacial lake located in Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia, Argentina, at the foot of the dramatic Cerro Torre mountain. Unfortunately today it was cloudy, overcast and lightly snowing. Fortunately no rain!Read more
