    Back to The End of the World .... still very windy!
    St Christopher a British rescue tug during WW2. Sold and used till ran aground in Beagle Channel '57Prison now converted to several museums....Several wings used to display notable naval, indigenous, local and prison history.Exercise area now a cafe........ though has been renovated ..Although prisoners some were commissioned to create beautiful furniture of all sizesOne wing remains as left....... it was freezing, and stark..... shared washing facilities ....... open toilet short drops ....... even graffiti in some cellsView from the first level.Large trawller ship with on board processing churning out boxes of frozen fishFilling container after container.

    Early flight to Ushuaia .... 3.45am wake up call for airport transfer at 4.30am. Fitted in a bit of sightseeing.
