La Teste-de-Buch, Gironde

In France 1st May is celebrated by the gift of a posy of Lilies of the Valley (muguet in French), a tradition dating back to 1561. Sellers were lining the roads.
But we've had torrential rain for most of the day and not too warm either! So we've had to take our chances with the weather and got wet a few times! Still, we found a nice stop in La Teste-de-Buch where we eventually had to give in to the weather and hunker down!Read more
