Bremen at Night

Winter, it is now winter. And the night draws in around four o'clock. On Saturday morning, I showed David around Düsseldorf before heading up to Bremen at 1pm to meet Irish. Bremen is a long way north -- 50km from the north sea -- and when we got there it was already dark. So my first experience of Bremen was walking around the Altstadt where all the old, proud Hanseatic buildings atmospherically were lit up and the Christmas market was bustling with its first weekend of trade.
