Tuesday of Carnaval

This the fourth and the last day of Carnival. The parade for this day is at a different venue. The parade starts at 4 pm and is on the Carrera 54.

From the parade, we went towards the town. There were parties going on everywhere.

Dancing late into the evening

Mixed with the Cumbia groups were performers dancing some Caribbean dances as well.
Some African dances

Some of the dances had their origins in the African community that was brought to Colombia as part of the slave trade. Eventually, their dance form mixed with the local dances to create unique danceもっと詳しく

Different dances during the parade had different costumes. Even the same dances had varied costume colors depending on the dance school they came from.

End of the parade

Some of the last floats in the parade. It all ended around 5:15 pm. That was almost 4 hours of colors, music, dance and fun.
