I've decided to do a post on my amazing visit to this sanctuary and borrow photos from Google as I used my eyes the whole time and took no photos!

The beautiful birds are being looked after by the sanctuary and are then released. I was fortunate enough to be there for the fun and informative conservation talk where we were introduced to the NZ pledge. By 2050 Aotearoa hope to have eradicated all non-native mammals and birds from the country which I find interesting, exciting and challenging. I really hope I'm here to hear about it as the English were very instrumental in the introduction of many of the non native birds and mammals.

If you are ever in Queenstown, I would recommend a visit, I was only there for the Kiwi!

Forgot to tell you about Zeus the Tuatara! Basically they are dinosaurs! Look them up. No one knows how long they live for! Zeus was a baby at 28!

Since visiting the Kiwi park, I've seen 2 Keas and two Wekas!
