Galapagos - dia II

The plan on day 2 was to go on a hike up to the Sierra Negra vulcano. A great trip to see the fauna and flora on this island. Unfortunatly I felt really sick during the night and was not able to do the hike. There was a hospital on the island, but it is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Guess what, it was Saturday. But after skipping the morning program we were ready (more or less) for the animals in the afternoon. On the way to Concha Perla we found some relaxing sealions and iguanas. The interesting thing on the Galapagos is that the animals do not care about you as long as you do not disturb them. At the Concha Perla we did some snorkeling and were able to swim with sea lions and a variety of colorful fish. We even found some sharks in the water. Impressive nature!Læs mere
