Tarn Hows walk & Hawkshead

Today we hiked around Tarn Hows, and sent off Bob and Mary-Ann.

We started our morning with breakfast and coffee at home, and then drove to Tarn Hows for a relaxing hike around the Tarn. The water and surrounding countryside was picturesque, although the day was a bit hot!(which is rare out here)

After enjoying the hike around the lake, we headed to a town called Hawkshead, where we enjoyed exploring. Most of the group sat for tea at a local tea house, but Chris and Chels went on a walk and grabbed smoothies at a local Tesco. After we all joined up again, and walked town a bit more before heading home.

Once home we cooked dinner, and then relaxed at home and played cards before calling it a night.Read more
