Pen y Fan hike

Today we hiked Pen y Fan, a ten mile hike encompassing 4 mountain peaks and 2,500 feet of elevation.

We started our day with breakfast at the Airbnb, and then headed to the hike trailhead. Immediately upon arriving we were greeted with beautiful weather, and the initial ascent up the first peak granted us lovely views of green countryside. We reached the summit of the first peak, took some pictures, and then continued on to do the next one in quick succession. We then repeated this two more times!

All in all the hike was lovely, and not too challenging as the trail was very well maintained with stone steps. The views were absolutely picturesque, as the entire landscape was very lush and green, and we could see for miles!

After the hike we headed back into town and Chelsea cooked for us, making a delicious and healthy salad. We worked on some trip planning after, and watched a bit of Yellowstone, before calling it a night.Read more
