Arriving in Vientiane, I set off for the bus terminal going to Xieng Khuan, also known as the Buddha Park. It was my last day for the trip so I decided to really enjoy it and not miss my flight. Lugging my bag around town was really taking its toll on my shoulders so I was glad I was able to find the right bus after going around a couple of times. It was a bit far but not too far, I was able to leave my bag with the front desk and explore the park at leisure.

There were hundreds of Buddha statues in different poses, forms and shapes. It was a really interesting place, there was a route to follow so I went around the whole park and entered one of the stupas in the center that housed even more statues. The stupa had rooftop access and the view from above was spectacular as you could see the whole park with a bird's eye view. Beyond the park, there were flower fields as well. I decided I didn't want to risk another flight fiasco so I headed back to Vientiane.
