San Juan- Boarding Jewel OTS & Underway

Wayne's BIRTHDAY!!!

We had a lazy morning, with breakfast in the Comedor hotel restaurant. Uneventful pack-up and taxi to the port.

We had the predictable line for inprocessing- and then aboard and to our Muster Station (theater). Jewel of the Seas is a beautiful ship. I really like it. We went to the Solarium for juice & cookies, and then to the room for a nap. I went to their tiny Cinema - holds about 50- to see "Barbie". I didn't hate it- but dozed off in the middle.

We decided on dinner in the buffet, and ate on the fantail for sailaway. We passed the forts, and then to open ocean. It was an early night.Read more
