• June 8-9 Bologna, Heathrow, and home

    June 8 in Italy ⋅ ☁️ 25 °C

Monday morning found us getting up for breakfast - typical - lots of pastries, some meats & cheeses. We have been struggling with our multiple bags, so went to purchase a large suitcase that will go to The Daughter for her travels. Found a good one for €60. Repacked, had dinner, and to bed.

On Tuesday we had breakfast, then caught a taxi to the airport. We saw lots of dogs and their people going to their planes. We had some time in the lounge, then onboard to Heathrow. And then, all of a sudden, we were at BWI. Global Entry was so easy - look in the camera, and that's that. Then, the wait for luggage. Took awhile, (except, wouldn't you know, Mr. Seat -Tilter's bag showed up at the very beginning,) and as we exited past customs, we saw our dear girl, who took us home.
