    I’m ready! ….. flight was delayed out of CR due to fog. Just a 1hr delay so Jen & I made our 11:30am spa appt! 🩷

    The spa was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. An ultimate pedi with a paraffin wax and a cleansing green mocktail - our toes are ready for the sand!

    Lots of hours spent at YVR today but we are now settled in our business class seats for our 17hr flight to Singapore before catching the 3hr connector to Bali.    Read more

    Hati Suci Retreat

    Arrived in Bali a couple days ago to our 7 day Embodied Goddess Yoga retreat at the Hati Suci Rustic Sanctuary. Lena has full days of yummy goodness planned for us 9 women. Our day starts with a yoga practice, meditation & morning circle then we break for a lovely family style breakfast brunch followed by a workshop (chakras, goddess painting, astrology) and then fun afternoon activities.     Balinese Outings

    Retreat has been great. Always starting out day with a gentle morning practice followed by a wonderful Balinese breakfast. Over the last couple of days, we have experienced a couple great adventures. First was a trip to the Tirta Empul Temple, founded in 962AD, where we participated in a purification process. The holy water springs bubble up and feed the 3 sacred purification pools containing numerous waterspouts for cleansing the body, mind, soul. The second adventure was an outing into Ubud to stroll along a ridge walk prior to shopping and a visit to the monkey forest. Skies opened up and we changed our plans while we enjoyed a few hours of a tropical rain storm. Sporting new rain ponchos, we made our way to a nice restaurant over looking gf rice fields.Read more

    The 7 day Embodied Goddess retreat North East of Ubud was filled with renewed insight, new friendships and much needed self care. Tammy, Jen & I are now at the Puri Santrian Beach Resort & Spa on Sanur Beach which is a change from our rustic living last week 😍. Temperatures have been an average of 31’C with 85% humidity. Very hot & sweaty! Our unheated pools are very warm and not as refreshing as needed. Grateful for the air conditioned room!Read more

    Jen & I hired a driver for the day (8hrs) and took a day trip from Sanur to Uluwatu. We visited the historic Hindu Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali’s most important spiritual landmarks and then had a meet up dinner with a number of our retreat friends. It was a long hot & humid day but glad to see a bit more of the island.Read more

    Heading to Singapore today. Filled my last couple days at Sanur beach with R&R. A relaxing spa day, a beautiful bike ride along the boardwalk and dinner out at our favourite beachside restaurant. Looking forward to the next leg of the journey.Read more
