Approaching Moab
We camped here for a night and hiked around, at over 10000 feet high. After spending the night, I experienced mild altitude sickness, but everyone else was fine. Cooking and opening sealed containersEn savoir plus
Last day in the Moab area. These red rocks and mountains never disappoint! We spent three total nights at this site, about 6000 feet elevation. Hard to beat this spot.
Dispersed camping on BLM lands right outside of Canyonlands National Park for three nights. No fees. Also passed Newspaper Rock Recreation Area, featuring petroglyphs.
Visiting the first of many National Parks on our trip! We spent two days here, hiked Caved Springs and Pothole trails.
