Papeete Wandering

Tikis and baguettes go hand in hand in Tahiti. The French influence is quite apparent as you stroll the the city of Papeete.

Up until recently, people here had special mailboxes at their houses, except that instead of mail, they would receive fresh bread deliveries twice a day! I saw a few of these old baguette boxes as we toured the island the next day, but didn’t manage to get any good photos of them.Baca lagi
