Arica’s cathedral was designed by none other than Gustav Eiffel. And just like the iconic tower in Paris, the church has an iron frame.
It’s a pretty building in easy reach of the port.

There’s a grotto dedicated to the Virgin of Lourdes behind Arica’s cathedral. As you can see, there are many plaques thanking her for her gracious intervention in people’s lives.
