Umoljani valley

After two rest days, it was time to rally. It was an unbelievable day riding through valley after valley of unending vistas.

Near the end I finally ran into a few people. An older German couple with whom I spoke about BiH's future which is tenuous at best. Later with a young French couple, who were wrestling with the rough conditions on heavy touring bikes we discussed the same subject in more depth. A bit later a German couple were hiking along and we had a nice travel conversation.

The clouds came in and thunder started, my plan for a bivy twarthed I checked into a sweet mountain style A frame. What a stunning day in the Balkans.Leggi altro
