It had been recommended by a family to stop at Mataranka, Bitter Springs and it didn’t disappoint, crystal clear springs, luck warm that you could float on a noodle down a little river way in the middle of a forest lined with palm and paperbark trees.
Bitter Springs is one of two natural thermal pools in Elsey National Park. Spring water rises from underground at a rate of 30.5million litres per day.Read more
