    Arriving from a stretch of unsealed road with corrugated surfaces we enter Point Stuart , greeted by a lotus pond and fountain, green grass , safari tents , swimming pool and saloon! A complete oasis in the middle of the outback. Red dirt and dust patches from the dry season appear in between the green grass being irrigated every day from the natural spring that provides all the water to the lodge and a huge generator provides the property with power.
    An ex buffalo abattoir which once provided its services for most of Australia’s buffalo trade but now buffaloes are considered a pest, causing damage to land along with the wild pigs.
