    The first camp site was one we didn’t really want to stay at but could get into Litchfield Safari Park but managed to get in a day later , we left the tourist park and headed deeper into the NP , then suddenly the sound and smell of rubber! A flat tyre was an understatement, shredded tyre more like, so much for the recovery kit! We again were blessed to recived numerous offers of help at one point 4 blokes who went home to get their gear to get the bloody wheel off! We had a family of women who provided the missing part randomly stop and at one point we had an entourage of people , supporting ,helping ,advising, we even were handing out the beers as we appreciated their help. Our stay was cut short at Litchfield NP Safari park as we now needed to head back up to Darwin ,to get two tyres.Read more
