Kilspindle

Came in on 2 wheels after a slow round at Craigelaw, we stopped into Margiotta food & wine, the store across from Ducks Inn, and grabbed 2 sandwiches, chips and a Sprite plus an Irn Bru (a local soda) and off to Kilspinde 5 minutes away. Had lunch on the bench by the putting green, followed by a a perfect pint of Belhaven's Best and off we went. Nice weather, light breeze, some fun holes along the water. You can see all of Gullane across the bay along with Luffness New ( arch rival of Kilspinde). We went through two groups, everyone was super nice. Met John on 16 and asked him to join us-he has a fine swing for 83. Met Martin and Håkim, also staying at Ducks, on the patio and we all had a pint. Nice short track, excellent condition, fun afternoon. You feel good about your game on this short course, lots of wedges into Par 4's 🙂.Read more
