We decided to head over to Newton Stewart today.
Slight change of plans. I thought driving down around the peninsula and up to Newton Stewart was a better idea than driving straight across.
We reached Port William around about lunchtime. Stopped for paninis and hot chocolate.
It was lovely and sunny but windy. The cafe supported an inshore lifeboat. Pirsac III. There was a lovely statue beside the car park.
We reverted back to heading to Newton Stewart after lunch. Found a distillery enroute but it was closed.Read more
