Bull Sink

I had a hair appointment at 10 a.m. so we left camp at 9 and took Trail 10 to the Flea Market. I dropped Mel off and ran into Chuckie & Jodi Fabry, then off to the donut shop. Got there and they only had 1 long John and one fritter! As I was walking out the door I heard a guy ask if they cooks fill him a Bavarian long John! Didn't know they had extra in the back so I was able to get us 4 of each.
It was only 11:30 but we decided to go ahead to the Seafood Seller before the Saturday lunch rush. Delicious scallops and Mel had gator bites and blue crab balls.
Took a drive out to Ft. Hood Island and walked the dogs around the boat launch park then back to camp. Mel talked to the ROTC orientation people and they gave him a T-shirt. Hot afternoon and the AC was working hard, running constantly and finally overheated and blew a breaker. We were praying that it wasn't broken. Let it cool for an hour and thank God it came back on. Cleaned up the odds and ends outside before heading in for the night. Couldn't stand listening to the barking dog in site 1 anymore! The host should have talked to them!Read more
