Mansfield Mobile Home Park

We've finally made it to Florida and spent our first week in Daytona Beach. It was much warmer but also I haven't experienced humidity like this in a very long time and I can say that I am not a fan.

The RV park was conveniently located to the speedway, shopping, and restaurants. Unfortunately, the bikability to get out of the park was ... terrible. Between that and the rain, we were pretty trapped. Add to that the fact that we were adjacent to a road where everyone was trying their damnedest to be louder than the adjacent Nascar track and airport, and it wasn't exactly our favorite spot.

But, we got out a bit, visited the flea market next door, and took in the "sights".

Also, there was a flock of turkeys (we think) that lived in the RV park.

We're excited to be heading to Palm Beach and a city park for our next stop, hopefully more opportunities to get out and walk or ride than we had in Daytona.Read more
