Park Hills

We had our luggage out of our rooms onboard by 7 a.m. and after a final breakfast w friends we set off on a day long tour of Dar es Salaam w a lovely waterfront lunch at the Coral Reef hotel, which was beautiful and put the final touches on the distinction of poverty and access on our 3 week journey. Another 100-degree plus day, we arrived to the airport about 6 pm to start our journies home. I made my way to PA while my sister went on to meet family/friends in London for a few days.

I def choked up when we touched down in State College. 35 hours and 5 flights later, I was home. ( Dar/Nairobi/Paris/Atlanta/Philly/State College) I was greeted warmly by a dear friend, complete w some goodies for my morning. Coming home is always special, and I won't soon forget the sensory experience of stepping into the Barn and being greeted by my goofs.

A special trip with a sibling is a gift! Making new friends is also a wonderful reminder that there are few, if any, coincidences-so many special moments.
