Sechs Musizierende - sechs Nationen, zwei Trios! Ein starkes Zeichen für die friedensstiftende Kraft der Musik, die hier zu spüren ist. Die drei jungen Gitarristen vom Alegrias Guitar Trio zeigen echtes Temperament an den Saiten. Seien es die Eigenkompositionen von Trio-Mitglied Dimitri, der am schöpferischsten ist, wenn er sich krank ins Bett zurückziehen kann oder die anrührende Interpretation von Edvard Griegs „Anitras Tanz“ oder „In der Höhle des Bergkönigs“. Mit „Pink Panther“ haben die drei Sympathieträger ihr Publikum natürlich in der Tasche und ich male ein etwas albernes Bild, das aber sofort verkauft wird- mein erster Verkaufserfolg überhaupt. Sehr nette Gespräche sind aber ebenso wertvoll!
In der Pause darf ich einen Satz für den neuen Imagefilm für Gitarrenfestival in die Kamera sprechen. Mal gespannt, was da raus kommt.
Antigoni Goni aus Griechenland, Studienkollegin von Festivalleiter Johannes Tonio Kreusch an der Juilliard School in New York, bringt noch einmal eine andere Stimmung in die Halle. Am besten gefällt mir ihre feministisch angehauchte Ode an die Frauen und die Chancen, die ihnen gewährt oder genommen werden. Leider setzt mir die Hitze dann so zu, dass ich den Rest des Konzerts im Vorraum ausruhe. Die Begeisterungsrufe, die aus dem Saal dringen, sprechen für sich! Six musicians - six nations, two trios! A powerful testament to the peace-making power of music, which can truly be felt here. The three young guitarists from the Alegrias Guitar Trio display real passion on the strings. Whether it's the original compositions by trio member Dimitri, who is most creative when he can retreat to bed sick, or the moving interpretation of Edvard Grieg's "Anitra's Dance" or "In the Hall of the Mountain King." With "Pink Panther," the three charming performers naturally have the audience in their pocket. I even create a somewhat silly drawing, which is immediately sold—my first successful sale ever. However, the delightful conversations are just as valuable!

During the intermission, I get to say a line for the new promotional film for the guitar festival on camera. I'm curious to see how that turns out.

Antigoni Goni from Greece, a fellow student of the festival director Johannes Tonio Kreusch at the Juilliard School in New York, brings a different atmosphere to the hall. I especially like her feminist-tinged ode to women and the opportunities they are given or denied. Unfortunately, the heat takes a toll on me, so I spend the rest of the concert resting in the foyer.
