    City adventure..but different.

    We discovered that leaving a city and new friends, makes it difficult to discover the soul of a new city were you are on your own.
    As in earlier days we always liked being on our own, now we miss the drive people have for their city.
    Even the smallest village, is a home for somebody.
    So. Yesterday be left Guelma and took of to Annaba.
    At first ..it looked like we fooled the police, and had a free drive..
    But... at the first roadblock we won the first price!
    An escorte to Annaba...
    But these were easy. Drive, dump, au revoir!
    ..
    So we went to discover Annaba. On foot.
    We walked almost 6 km to reach the old city.
    Sadly it was Friday. And all closed. But we could imagine how busy and thriving this town would be on a normal shopping day.
    ..
    We also concluded, and this might not be the friendliest thing to say...
    The French did a far more better job in architecture than the Algerians.
    And maybe, the government should invest in keeping this heritage ...
    ..
    Today it might be the last of Algeria.
    We don't know yet if we stay one more day in El Kala and Lake Tonga. Or just pay it a visit and leave the country...
