Calvary Protestant Episcopal Church

We helped prepare and serve breakfast to the homeless people at this church. First of all Josiah, Makenna, and Kaitlyn helped prepare and butter biscuits, meanwhile Jeremy sat at a table and welcomed the guests, he also made sure they each signed in. Our City Host Kristyn began to talk to some of the homeless people, slowly Jess and Kailah joined her, soon Liz and Madison went over to another table. Greg and Josh then went over an introduced ourselves to a man. We soon then helped pass out plasticware to the tables. The food we served included gritts, sausage, eggs, applesauce, chicken, and biscuits. For drinks they had orange juice and coffee. We served 45 homeless individuals. After being prayed for by the church we began to walk outside as it was begining to rain.Read more
