Albuquerque

Albuquerque is only an hour south of Santa Fe so we decided to spend the night here in order to reduce the driving time tomorrow. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express which was located on an urban reserve, although they don't call them that in New Mexico. The hotel and several local businesses are owned and managed by a group of pueblos.

We ate at one of their restaurants too....Pueblo Harvest Cafe. Again the food was different and delicious. We shared a Tewa Taco, voted "Best in the City". It's an Indian frybread the size of a medium pizza with all the traditional taco toppings. We also shared chili relleno, which was breaded with blue taco chips instead of the traditional egg.
