Old Town Scottsdale

It was a warm, sunny day, about 20 degrees, so we drove to Old Town Scottsdale to experience the Old West. We visited the Old Adobe Mission, built in 1933, and explored some of the shops. Linda made friends with a local cowboy; whereas, I stuck to my Native roots.

Afterwards, we drove several miles looking for a self car wash to rid the Manitoba grime from our vehicle. Most car washes here were called "auto spas" and were very expensive. We stuck out like a sore thumb amongst all the shiny new BMWs, Corvettes, and Lexuses.Read more
