Lunenburg, NS

This morning we had a one hour drive to the picturesque, colourful town of Lunenburg, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We were fortunate in that the Blue Nose II was in port and we were allowed to go aboard and explore Nova Scotia's sailing ambassador. On our route we drove through the small town of Mahone Bay, which is known for it's 3 churches that greet you as you enter town.Read more
