I parked the car for the whole week and explored the community on foot. I walked for 3-4 hours each afternoon, distances of 4-9 km. Weston is nicely landscaped and I saw a variety of waterfowl, a turtle, and a racoon running across the street and along the sidewalk. I thought racoons were nocturnal? There were posters in our building warning of alligators spotted in the neighbourhood but I was happy that I never saw any.

I thought it was odd that dog owners picked up their dog's poop but then just left the bags in the grass along the sidewalk. So Floridian dog owners are responsible and considerate....but not really.Read more
