Finally.....Newport

It was a very long but satisfying day when we finally reached our destination, the Embarkadero Resort in Newport, just after 7 pm. We had a one bedroom timeshare condo that overlooked Yaquina Bay and was just a 5 minute drive to the ocean. It was nice to have a kitchen so that we could prepare our own meals. Two sisters often have difficulty deciding which restaurant they would like to have dinner at....and sometimes they have difficulty deciding what food they would like to prepare for dinner and what flavour of ice cream to buy! Sister #3 finds that it is best to just walk away. However, we did agree on buying fresh coho salmon from the Bayfront commercial fishery. At $27 it definitely was a splurge but the meal was oh so good.Read more
