    As this was our first US port all passengers had to be cleared by US Customs & Border Protection. Although there were nearly 1800 passengers the process was well organized and went quickly. Once again we did a self-guided historical walk in the downtown area and along Commercial Street, the main tourist zone. We stopped for lunch at The Porthole Restaurant where we enjoyed what Maine is famous for....lobster, haddock fish & chips and fish tacos. The restaurant wasn’t fancy but the food was fresh and delicious. JS headed back to the ship; Ed wandered along the waterfront before going back to the ship; while Janet & I did a long walk along the Eastern Promenade that runs along Casco Bay.
